South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada may miss the rest of the Test series against Australia following an incident with their captain Steve Smith during the second Test, the BBC report.
The 22-year-old removed the Australian captain with an lbw dismissal and then brushed shoulders with Smith during his celebration in Port Elizabeth.
This comes after Quinton de Kock and David Warner clashed in the first Test when an on-field altercation needed team mates to separate the pair as they headed to the changing rooms.
Rabada ripped through the Australian middle order and picked up five wickets, however, he may now be banned and fined after his actions.
He has been charged with a level two breach of cricket’s code of conduct and could face a two-Test ban, meaning he’d miss the remaining two matches in the series.
The South African has contested the charge given to him on the basis of unintentional contact.
