Day Two of England’s Ashes warm game against the Cricket Australia XI was all about their bowlers after the tourists added just 15 to their overnight score to finish their first innings on 293 all out.

With Ben Stokes looking more and more likely to miss the entire series, there is at least one bowling position up for grabs and a few of England’s fringe players put their hands up for selection as Cricket Australia declared on 233/9 in order to have a bowl at England’s top order under lights.

Alastair Cook and Mark Stoneman batted out the five overs unbeaten as England ended the day on 5/0.

Here’s what we learned on Day Two of the warm up game in Adelaide.
