Indian pair Virat Kohli and Mithali Raj have both been selected among the leading Wisden cricketers of the year, according to Indian Express.
Kohli has been selected as the most successful international cricketer, picking up the male award for the second year in succession.
It was another fine year for the Indian captain as he scored 2818 runs over the three formats as his reputation grows further and further.
As for Raj, an excellent year included leading her nation to the World Cup final before losing to England, and has since become the all time leading run scorer in Women’s ODI cricket.
She was understandably picked out as the outstanding female cricketer of the year.
Elsewhere, five cricketers were chosen for the prestigious Cricketers of the Year list, including three members of England’s World Cup winning squad.
