Alex Hales continues to shine for Sunrisers
England opener Alex Hales continued his good form in the IPL with a score of 45 to help the Sunrisers Hyderabad to a fourth-consecutive victory in the competition, Sky Sports report.
Hales was named as the replacement to David Warner after the former Australia vice-captain was banned from the game due to his involvement in the ball-tampering scandal in South Africa.
The Sunrisers defeated the Delhi Daredevils by seven wickets to return to the top of the table, chasing down their target of 164 with a ball to spare.
Hales began his innings slowly, however, unleased three huge sixes off the bowling of Avesh Khan to almost double his score.
The England opener has now made back-to-back scores of 45, helping the Sunrisers to wins in each game.
Jason Roy has also impressed during his time in the IPL, where he scored an unbeaten 91 to guide the Dehli Daredevils to a win against the Mumbai Indians earlier in the competition.
