India cricket fixtures 2026–27 promise a season to remember

West Indies and Sri Lanka set the tone

The season begins on September 27 with the arrival of the West Indies cricket team. The tour sets the tone with a white ball series.

Three One-Day Internationals will be played in Trivandrum, Guwahati and New Chandigarh. The action then moves to five T20 Internationals in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The wide spread of venues brings India cricket closer to fans nationwide.

In December, the Sri Lanka national cricket team arrive for another white-ball series. Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad will host the ODIs. Rajkot, Cuttack and Pune will stage the T20 matches. The fixtures then continue to build momentum through the middle of the season.

The season builds towards a dramatic conclusion with the Border Gavaskar Trophy against the Australia national cricket team.

The five-match Test series begins in Nagpur on January 21. It then moves to Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi and Ahmedabad. The contest promises intensity between two of the strongest sides in world cricket.
