At a glance
- Lancashire have the slight upper hand v Durham
- Kent in big trouble at Worcestershire
- Evenly poised at Derby
As the sun beamed down over the cricket grounds of England, the Division two games of Round four delivered plenty of runs again. Although the draw is likely in two of the games, one game could finish on day three.
Worcestershire v Kent
Another commanding day for Worcestershire as they started the day on 94-1, 102 runs behind Kent. Worcestershire ended the day, still batting, on 441-9, a lead of 245. Brett D’Oliveira top scored with 90, Adam Hose scored 75 and a 52* for Matthew White and Jake Libby (52) has given Worcestershire the upper hand in this one.
Opening bowler Matt Milnes is the pick of the bowlers with 4-81. Michael Cohen (2-81) and Joey Evison (2-68) chipped in as well. It will be down to the Kent batters tomorrow if they are to get anything at all from this game.

Durham v Lancashire
Lancashire only added 14 runs to their overnight total, as they were bowled out for 370. Marcus Smith (146) only added 11 runs to his overnight 135, and Tom Bailey ended up on 28*.
Ben Raine topped the bowling with 4-77, with Matthew Potts taking 3-76. Sam Conners (2-74) and Kasey Aldridge (1-58) took the other wickets.
However, Durham struggled to get going and soon found themselves in a bit of trouble, at 124-7. However, bowlers Ben Raine (37) and Matthew Potts (66) brought Durham back into the game, and when Callum Parkinson was left stranded on 36*, Durham were all out for 295, only 75 runs behind. That seemed a long way off earlier in the day, so Durham will be happy with how the day ended.
Tom Bailey took 3-68, as the pick of the bowlers. Leading Wicket taker James Anderson added two more to his tally, with figures of 2-73, and Mitchell Stanley took 2-49.

Derbyshire v Gloucestershire
Gloucestershire resumed on 287-6, with Miles Hammond looking to add to his overnight 140. However he only added five more runs before he was out. When he fell, the score was 293-7, Ed Middleton fell soon after for 46, and suddenly Gloucestershire were 301-8. It was down to bowlers Henry Brookes (89) and Will Williams (98) to add 191 for the ninth wicket, and Gloucestershire all out for 498.
England spinner Shoaib Bashir took 3-116 as the top bowler. Ben Aitchison took 2-85 and Martin Andersson took 2-58.
Derbyshire lost their first wicket in the first over, as Harry Came was out for 8 off the last ball of the first over. Both Caleb Jewell and Matthew Montgomery were out for 28, but Wayne Madsen ended the day on 62*. Martin Andersson will resume with Madsen on 12 and Derbyshire resume on 144-3, 354 runs behind.
After his career best 98, Will Williams has 1-19 from 9 overs. Gabe Bell has 1-61, and Graeme van Buuren has the other wicket (1-13). Both sides will want to get the upper hand, but you feel that if Gloucestershire pick up early wickets, they can really pile on some pressure.
