There was only the two games to finish today, after Middlesex and Durham won inside three days. Derbyshire won by an innings and Kent picked up back-to-back wins.

Derbyshire v Northamptonshire
Derbyshire picked up the win that was always theirs the moment Northamptonshire were forced to follow on. Northamptonshire started the day on 66-2, needed to bat all day just to get a draw.
Harry Conway, who started the day on 0, was first out, and Derbyshire soon had the opposition on 145-6. Nathan McSweeney scored 62 off 145 balls, and George Bartlett was not out for a resilient 65 from 175, but eventually Northamptonshire were bowled out for 263, losing by an innings and 113 runs.
Zak Chappell was the pick of the bowling, with figures of 4-53. Shoaib Bashir also took 3-70, with Martin Andersson taking 2-36, and Ben Aitchison with 1-49.

Gloucestershire v Kent
Kent made two in a row, after they picked up a thrilling win over Gloucestershire. Gloucestershire resumed on 251-9, a lead of 249. Ed Middleton was the last man out for 22, and Gloucestershire were all out for 262, setting Kent 261 to win, with the majority of the day to get them. James Taylor took the final wicket to end with figures of 4-54.
Kent’s run chase didn’t start particularly well, as Ben Dawkins (7), Zak Crawley (17) and Sam Northeast (4)were all dismissed with the score on 64. An 82 run partnership between Tawanda Muyeye and Daniel Bell-Drummond (38) settled things down a little. Muyeye was next out for 108, with Kent still needing 57 to win, and Gloucestershire needing five wickets.
Chris Benjamin (42) and Stephen Eskinazi (18) were the next two out and when Keith Dudgeon was out without troubling the scorers, Kent still needed 8 to win, but Gloucestershire just needed two wickets.
In the end, it was Joey Evison (12*) and James Taylor (7*) who saw Kent home with two wickets to spare.
Gabe Hill was the best of Gloucestershire bowling with 4-87, and Will Williams took 3-67, with Matt Taylor (1-44) taking the other one.
