At a glance

  • Seventh appearance in the tournament since 2014
  • Won first T20 game in the last tournament, since hosting
  • Qualified through the Global Qualifier

Bangladesh secured qualification through the Global Qualifier earlier this year, finishing top of the standings after an unbeaten campaign. The side also claimed its first tournament victory since hosting the event in 2014 with a win over Scotland during the 2024 competition.

Squad List

Bangladesh bring plenty of experience into the tournament, but they face a difficult group-stage draw. They will likely view their opening match against the Netherlands as a key opportunity to build momentum and confidence ahead of the tougher tests to come.
