He scored an unbeaten 67 off 48 balls and stitched a crucial 98-run partnership with Kartik Sharma. Their steady approach ensured CSK stayed ahead in the chase without taking unnecessary risks.

Unlike some previous matches, CSK handled the chase calmly. Even after losing two wickets, Gaikwad and Kartik Sharma maintained composure and paced the innings perfectly.
