At 24 years old, Jaiswal has already played 28 Tests for India and has two double centuries to his name. He has seven scores over 100, including 171 on debut against West Indies.
However, his IPL career is just as impressive. He has played seven seasons in the IPL for Rajasthan Royals, scoring a total of 2563, at an average of 34.17, and an impressive strike rate of 153.84.
IPL career
He made his debut for the Royals in 2020 against Chennai Super Kings, scoring just 6 runs. In that first season, he only scored 40 runs in three matches. His best season so far came in 2023, where he scored 625 runs in 14 matches at an average of 48.08 and an strike rate of 163.61. His highest ever score also came in this season.
He scored 124 against Mumbai Indians, to become the youngest centurion at 21 years and 123 days. That innings also equalled the highest score by a Rajasthan Royal batter, and it also broke the record for the highest IPL score by an uncapped player. Also in the 2023 season, he scored the fastest fifty in the IPL, off just 13 balls, against Kolkata Knight Riders.
With Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator against Sunrisers Hyderabad later today, Jaiswal will be looking to add to his tally. He hasn’t had the best form against SRH in this IPL, as he has scored a total of 11 runs from 13 balls. Rajasthan have also lost the previous two meetings against Hyderabad this season.

International career
Jaiswal has played 28 Tests for India, since making his debut in against West Indies in Roseau in 2023. He made quite a splash as he scored 171 on debut. He has amassed 2511 runs at an average of 49.23 in Tests, scoring seven centuries, two of those being double centuries. His highest Test score in 214* against England in Rajkot in 2024. He also has 10 scores for 50 and over.
Jaiswal has only played four ODIs so far, scoring a total of 171, with a high score of 116* against South Africa in 2025. In T20Is, Jaiswal has scored 723 runs in 23 matches at 36.15, with a high score of 100 against Nepal in 2023.He has five scores of 50 and over.
