Cricket West Indies (CWI) have announced their Summer schedule for this season. The men’s team will play series against Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Pakistan.

First up is Sri Lanka. They will play in three ODIs and Three T20I’s at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica. These game will be played between 3rd -14th June. Then there will be two test matches, both played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua & Barbuda. The first Test will take place from 25 to 29 June, with the second Test scheduled for 3 to 7 July.

The New Zealand tour will only feature five ODIs. The series will feature three matches at Guyana’s National Stadium, with the final two fixtures taking place at Kensington Oval in Barbados. The games are scheduled to be played from 11 to 21 July.

Then Pakistan are the visitors to the Caribbean. They will play two Tests, both played in Trinidad and Tobago, but at different venues. The Brian Lara Cricket Academy will host its first ever Test match when the series gets underway. The second Test will be at the usual venue of the Queen’s Park Oval.

“Logistical challenges” force change of venue

The New Zealand ODI series was originally due to be played at Guyana’s National Stadium, but “logistical challenges” forced a change of venue.

CWI chief executive Chris Dehring said “Cricket West Indies engaged in discussions with the government of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana regarding logistical challenges associated with hosting the five ODIs. Subsequently, the governments of Guyana and Barbados proposed a collaborative arrangement to share the matches and associated operational costs between the two territories.

“Following consultation with New Zealand, Cricket West Indies approved the arrangement as part of its continued commitment to delivering a successful and memorable series for players, fans, and the wider Caribbean community.”

The Test matches against Sri Lanka and Pakistan will be part of the World Test Championship. West Indies are currently bottom of the table, having only won one Test out of eight played in the ongoing 2025-27 cycle.
